My Experience During My First Month at Orangetheory

this blog post was written as a part of a gifted transformation challenge in partnership with orangetheory, all thoughts are Kayla Justin's.

What is Orangetheory?

Hey all! Let's talk Orangetheory. First, what is it? Orangetheory is an interval-based workout that uses your heart rate to make you push yourself harder. It is composed of three things, interval training on a treadmill, indoor rowing, and room floor exercises with weights.

Our Experience at Orangetheory

So recently I was invited as an influencer to do the transformation challenge that they hold at Orangetheory. Basically their ‘transformation challenge’ is a challenge for who can lose the most weight. In the end, the winner would win a cash prize. Though I don’t need to lose weight, I thought it would still be fun to go and see what this place is all about.

I have been doing it for about three weeks and boy do I feel good. I have always been athletic and loved working out, but sometimes I feel like I just can’t get that good sweat in or need that extra push to go a little further. That is what Orangetheory is for. It is to help teach those and push those who want to see a difference in their physical and also mental health. Ever since I have joined, I see a difference in my moods, appetite, and also my body. I am able to run a lot longer and faster without getting tired. I don’t crave those bad foods as much, and I look more toned!

Final Thoughts

So far, I love Orangetheory. It is a little pricey, but if you really want to make a change with your lifestyle, this is a great first step in making it. The best part is that you can go try your first class for free to see if it will be a good suit for you! So I encourage all that want a change but don’t know where to start to go give Orangetheory a try!
