6 Pizzeria's Your Dog Can Join You For Dinner
For those of you who don’t know, one of my favorite things in life, besides coffee is pizza and my pup, Cesar. I love it so much that I could eat pizza every day. I even feed pizza flavored dog treats to my Cesar. - My dog absolutely loves them. So now I’ll share my favorite pizza joints in San Antonio that are pet-friendly- because a dog is a girl’s best friend and pizza is life.
PAWSitively Sweet Bakery
The pizza dog treat pictured is from PAWSitively Sweet Bakery. The treats are made with all natural ingredients and are locally sourced- making this a great dog treat shop here in San Antonio. Your fur babies are sure to love them. Don’t worry they are a human-friendly pizza shop, so we humans may enter with our fur babies.
Find it: They are available at 5501 Blanco Road as well as The Pearl Farmers Market on Saturdays (9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) and Sundays (10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.).
Dough
One of my favorite pizza places in San Antonio has to be Dough. Lucky for you, they have two locations. One is off of 410 and Blanco; the other location is located in Hemisfair Park- right in Downtown SA. Their pizza is legit Italian style pizza. My favorite location is Hemisfair Park location because you get a beautiful view of the Tower of the Americas while enjoying delicious pizza. Before dinner, you can go for a stroll down Hemisfair Park and maybe you may catch an event going on. After dinner, you can go next door to Paleteria San Antonio for your paleta fix or Chocollazo & Sugar Sugar for your candy fix. Both places will be sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Stella Public House
Second on my list is Stella Public House which is located in beautiful Southtown and is right across from the San Antonio River Walk (this isn’t the riverwalk you’re thinking about, its the outer riverwalk) While waiting for the main event I like to enjoy the lamb meatballs with wild mushroom mac and cheese. You can thank me later.

Guillermo’s
Next, on my list is Guillermo’s. They serve Italian food, sandwiches, burgers, and tacos, so every member of your family will be happy. The outside patio is perfect because it is completely shaded, and it’s super close to downtown. After you are done eating you can walk off your food while visiting The San Antonio River Walk or The Alamo, and take really cute pictures with your fur baby.

Wine 101
Wine 101 is located in Old Town Helotes which is beautiful and has wonderful retail shops. The flatbread is oozing with so much flavor. I know it’s not exactly pizza, but it’s close enough and it’s so delicious. The outdoor seating is beautiful. It’s a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city without being far from the city.
Find it: 14743 Old Bandera Rd., Helotes, TX 78023
South Flo Pizza
Last, but not least at participating HEB locations you can get a 16” pizza at South Flo Pizza with your choice of two beers or wines for $10 from 4-7 p.m. It is seriously a steal. The pizza is delicious, and it pairs well with Alamo Golden Ale. You may have to have someone hold your dog outside or keep them in your vehicle with the AC on while place your order, but trust me pizza and two beers for $10 is an unbeatable price. On Mondays, you can get an 8” pizza for $5 or a 16” pizza for $8 (limit of 2 per customer Summer 2019).
