It’s kind of in the name, but if you haven’t been, this hip coffee shop serves more than coffee. There’s light bites, essential oils, soaps and apparel too. There’s not only room for their goods but also for you to relax on a sofa or prop against the wall with earbuds on.

La Panaderia Bakery Cafe

This little panaderia specializes in handmade bread and pan dulce with flavors and recipes inspired by Mexico. Whether you’re looking for a savory treat, cup of joe or wanting to chill you’ll be able to while smelling the delicious aromas.

Tower of the Americas - the Chart House

What better way to be alone than to go where no one can reach you, literally. For locals, the Tower of the Americas is often reserved for tourists or for special nights, but it doesn’t have to be that way. A way to slash the price for a beautiful view of the city is to go up to the Chart House during Happy Hour. Get your drink on and enjoy the city view in peace.

Spacious and filled with small spots to hide away, ditch the laptop and go outside to experience what this city park has to offer. If you want to bike, lay in the grass or play some tennis, you can do that at Brackenridge Park.

The Once and Future River

This bridge leads the way to Mission Concepcion and other San Antonio parks. Engraved with rattlesnakes, dragonflies, flowers and more the art the bridge is one to look at and is inviting to sit on while reflecting by the river.

A beloved location of the locals which makes it a perfect spot to people-watch or to chill by the river, the Pearl has an abundance of options of seating and gives off good vibes. There’s usually events going on so you may get lucky and can explore one!
