The Ultimate List of Best Happy Hours for EVERY SINGLE DAY of the Week
Okay, so maybe every single day of the week is a little too ambitious. I didn’t take into consideration things like Friday and Saturday when people typically go out but hear me out. I sat down with resident drinker, Erin of @drinking.in.sa for some serious scientific research that’s sole purpose to get you to the best happy hours in San Antonio and with a drink in hand.
So without further ado here are the findings of our scientific study. We will present the best for specific days, then overall best of the week. We also have a guest appearance from the best drinker I know: @s.a.vortooth.
Sunday
Francis Bogside- this Southtown happy hour hotspot with an Irish flair has an all day Sunday and Monday happy hour.
Hanzo- If you’ve been following me for a while you know my love affair for this gastro-pub. Asian Old-Fashioned for life.
Barbaro- If you’re dreading Monday just take advantage of their late night pizza + cocktail deal for $10. It’s like you’re getting the pizza for free.
George’s Keep- This San Antonio northside bar also has a full day Sunday/ Monday Happy Hour!
Blue Box Bar- If you walk too fast you’ll miss the Blue Box Bar like their deals are available Sunday and Monday so keep your eye on the prize.
Monday
Hoppy Monk- Monday’s in my opinion are a drag. So beat traffic by posting up at the bar with a rotating list of cocktails during all day hoppy hour.
Francis Bogside- as stated above but also all day Monday.
Hanzo- as stated above but also all day Monday.
Pig Pen- You can’t beat $5 margaritas + $5 nachos, ‘nuff said
Costa Pacifica- If you’re wayyyyyyy up on the far northside and are looking for a happy hour! I got you. Costa Pacifica has an all day happy hour Monday + Tuesday.
Green Lantern- hosts an all day Happy Hour in Stone Oak on Mondays. Every other day it’s til 9. That sounds like a win.
George’s Keep-as stated above but also all day Monday.
Tuesday
Barbaro- There’s a rare Tuesday you won’t find me here. Half priced cocktails. Eye catching aesthetic. Like step into my office.
The Friendly Spot-I do not have to say anything but 1/2 price nachos. Nachos always make a happy hour.
Costa Pacifica- as stated above but also all day Tuesday.
Sangria on the Burg- I will not tell you again! Parking is hard to get but it’s totally worth it. $2 al pastor and $3 jerk tacos + sangria or margaritas is enough to make me get there early and camp out.
Wednesday
Hot Joy- It’s an island ting and twice fried wing Wednesday and happy hour from 4-7 like catch me there in the corner.
Barbaro- Normal happy hour and then after 9pm $10 pizza + cocktail combo. Happy hump day!

Best Overall Everyday!
The Rustic- While the selection is limited to frose, beer and wine it’s a good deal at $3 at 3pm, $4 at 4pm, and $5 at 5pm.
The General Public- GET. EVERY. COCKTAIL. ON. THEIR. LIST. FOR. $3 at 3pm, $4 at 4pm, and $5 at 5pm and take then a lyft home.
Still Golden- El mero, mero happy hour spot near the Pearl. Go while it’s super chill.
Chisme- Free chips and queso, an affordable happy hour and a great patio any night of the week… except for Monday because look above at all the options you have.
Cured- I can’t celebrate this enough. $.50 quail legs, free hard boiled eggs, classy ass cocktails. Pick up a sugar daddy or two.
La Roca- Tuesday thru Sunday is a happy hour til 9.
Bombay Bicycle Club- Great cocktail menu, apps are a 33% off. Everyday is a special and that means you’re in luck.
Rebelle- I am solely putting this in here because a good friend of mine, Ryu, who’s kinda the master knows things.
