We’re approaching the last bit of summer, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to end. The weather is still warm and there’s still plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors in San Antonio, Texas this fall. Check out these 6 attractions that you won’t want to miss out on this season!

 

1. Movie in the Park | September 14th

Once a month, Tower of the Americas hosts their Movie in the Park event. Get ready for Solo: A Star Wars Story on September 14th! It’s free of charge and each movie begins at 6pm. Bring a blanket and get comfortable! This is the perfect way to end your evening with friends and family.

 

2. Oktubrefest! | September 21st

This cultural festival blends German and Spanish heritage into one incredible celebration! At Oktubrefest, you can expect so much mouthwatering food like Bavarian tacos, Chorizo and Wurst. Beer vendors and live music put the cherry on top of this amazing daylong festival.

 

3. Culinaria Wine + Food Festival | September 26th

If you’re a fan of delicious food and wine, you’ve come to the right place! San Antonio’s best chefs all come together for this weekend event that will make your mouth water. Try creations for some of your favorite local chefs all while sipping on wine, beer or a cocktail in the Texas Hill Country at Culinaria.

 

4. Parktoberfest | September 29th

On September 29th, Brackenridge Park will host Parktoberfest to celebrate San Antonio’s German heritage. The event is free of charge and you can even grab some free beer samples from breweries like Cerveceros, Alamo Beer Co., San Antonio Lager, Bexar Brewers, and Saint Arnold! Schilo’s will be serving food, and you can enjoy live music from Beethoven Maennerchor!

 

5. San Antonio Beer Festival | October 19th

Founded in 2005, San Antonio Beer Festival offers over 400 different beers from more than 125 breweries all over the world. Get ready for a day full of games, live music, food trucks, wine, and of course, delicious craft beer. Make sure to bring lawn chairs or blankets so that you can relax and enjoy an incredible fall day! 

 

6. Mala Luna Music Festival | October 26th-17th

If you’re into music festivals, Mala Luna will not disappoint! The lineup consists of hip-hop, R&B, and dance music artists. With live art installations, local food vendors and elaborate costumes, you’ll definitely have an experience to remember!
